I’m going to get a mac this summer and I was wondering what the current educational institute student discount is? I heard it’s 0 off (macbook) and a free ipod and 0 rebate on a printer. I was wondering if it is the same and when it begins and ends?

I’m planning on getting a Macbook, but I want a discount of some sort. The discount has to work for a brand new Macbook, not a refurbished one, or a preowned. I want to get a Macbook with 2 GB RAM, and 200 GB Hard drive.

I recently bought a 15 inch macbook pro with a educational institute student discount, but now I want to sell it and get a 13 inch macbook pro. I was told I could only buy one laptop per educational institute year, but wonder if I just go to another apple store and use a different credit card and address, is there any way they will know? How do they know? Do they record my address or credit card number or educational institute affiliation?
