On the Apple website it says that I can get 0 off the laptop I wanted to buy since they have an education discount program thing. So would I still be able to get this discount even if I go to a Best Buy store and buy the laptop there? They have an Apple section of their store, so I don’t know if that means I would still be able to get the discount or not.

I recently bought a 15 inch macbook pro with a educational institute student discount, but now I want to sell it and get a 13 inch macbook pro. I was told I could only buy one laptop per educational institute year, but wonder if I just go to another apple store and use a different credit card and address, is there any way they will know? How do they know? Do they record my address or credit card number or educational institute affiliation?
I am buying a Dell brand laptop and want to check the internet for a discount coupon code I need it ASAP!

I’m ready to have a wonderful, reliable laptop with which I may travel easily. I go to Umass Boston and I know there is a educational institute student discount but I assume there has to be some other ways to get discounts on laptops through computer drives or other companies, online web pages, orgs, coupons, etc? I don’t mind something refurbished, display models or unpopular styles, colors, etc. I just need for it to be under the full warranty which allows you to bring the laptop to the Apple store for services and repairs.
