Is it plausible that if I ask a hotel manager for a discount they’ll give one to me? Should I be specific about how much of a discount I’m asking for?
I just love this hotel. I wrote very positive reviews for it on different traveling online web pages.

Call the hotel BEFORE checking in or arriving at the front desk and ask for their most excellent rate and then if they offer any other discount.

"I’m planning you be in your city on such and such a date. What is your most excellent price for such and such kind of room at that time?"

I travel a lot and have found it better to call the hotel thru a local number and ask what the cheapest room is. For some reason if you go thru their 800 number they charge more.

well whether u write wonderful stuff about it or not they might appreciate it but im pretty sure they wont give a discount or something like that
(sorry for using so much emoticans im addicted 
haha) although u can naturally/professionally tell them "…hi,i was wondering if it is possible for me to get any discounts for my hotel room/suite…"

Yes, talk to the manager, there’s no harm in doing so. You can express how you feel about the hotel and let him/her know that you would like to be back on a regular basis. If possible, you would like to obtain a alliance (member) card for discounts to accumulate points for Free nights. Also, try looking thru the link below for hotel discounts, i always book my hotels thru coupondawg/agoda. They offer very competitive prices, you may find your hotel discount on there.

call the hotel directly and see what there most excellent available rate it is the most excellent way to find out many hotels have very wonderful special on the weekends that they do not put on there online web pages.
