My family and I are planning to get a disneyland annual pass. But of course, the economy sucks and the admission ticket prices have gone higher. How much discount does AAA Insurance give you for the pass, & how much additional discount do I get for being a southern Cali resident? And if I get the Annual pass, am I able to go to both parks? Any additional information is great, thank you!

You can get some great cheap Disneyland admission tickets for Southern Cali residents. I’ve seen the Select Annual Passport for only $144 at grocery stores, but it is only wonderful weekdays and has some blackout days, so it depends on your availability. Another choice is to try the current So Cal Disneyland Summer Pass which is 3 days for $108, but you must go once no later than August 29 and the other times within 45 days. Also look for their 2 fer offers, which usually occurs in Jan – Apr of each year – for $76 you will probably be able to visit one park, then the second park on a different day within 30 days.
There are also many other passports available, but I think these are some of the most excellent Disneyland budget price for Southern Cali residents.
AAA does not offer much in the way of Disneyland admission ticket discounts.

There are all kinds of different plans, not just annual. If you get an annual pass, yes, it gets you into both parks. It’s:
$184 for 170 days/year (available only to SoCal folks)
$239 for 215 days/year (available only to SoCal folks)
$329 for 315 days/year
$459 for all 365 days of the year.
SoCal residents can pay by the month, only $9.00/month for the 170 day plan. But I don’t see a discount on annual passes for SoCal residents.
I’m not seeing any AAA discounts online now. I thought I saw some last spring, so it may be a seasonal thing.

AAA = no discount. They sell admission tickets for the same price as at the park.
SoCal resident = Southern Cali residents, you can buy either a Southern Cali Select or a Southern Cali Pass. The Select has 170 available days and is blocked at Halloween and Christmas. $184 each. The Southern Cali has 215 available days and is blocked at Halloween and Christmas. $239 each.
There are Annual Passes available that have even fewer blockout dates, but they are not discounted for SoCal residents. The Premium Pass has no blockout dates and includes parking. Yes, you can go Christmas and Halloween (but be aware that a separate admission ticket is needed to attend Mickey’s Halloween Treat Party at Disneyland.) $459 each. The Deluxe Pass has 315 available days. It is not blocked at Halloween but is blocked at Christmas. $329 each.
Yes, an Annual Pass functions like a Park Hopper and allows you to visit both Disneyland and Cali Adventure on the same day. Bear in mind that each person in your family over 2 years of age is required to have their own pass; there is no "family plan" or "family sharing" pass available.
